i too was also expecting turntables and electric guitar , but this isn't bad at all. In fact, its kind of nice.... i think i'll download it.
the only thing you could improve on this song is the length. It should have been twice as long.

the beats are spot on, the synth work does need some adjusting. other than that its good.
